What is a geo-grid rank tracker?
It runs the same Google Maps search from many points laid out in a grid around a business, then plots the business's rank at each point. Maps results depend heavily on where the searcher is, so one ranking number hides most of the picture.
Where does the ranking data come from?
Each point is a live Google Maps search run from that coordinate through a licensed SERP data provider. We record the top 20 results at every point.
How is this different from credit-based tools?
You pay one flat price per month for a number of tracked keywords. Weekly scans for those keywords are included and don't use up anything. On-demand scans have a generous monthly allowance.
What happens if a scan fails?
It doesn't count against your monthly allowance, and you can run it again right away. You never pay for a scan that didn't finish.
How do I know the data is right?
Click any pin on the map to see the top 3 businesses Google returned at that exact spot, with its coordinates. Search the same keyword on your phone there and compare.
Do I need access to the Google Business Profile?
No. Rankings are public, so you can track any business, including a prospect or a competitor, without logging in to anything.
Can I white-label reports?
Yes, on Pro and Agency. Reports show your agency name, logo and colour, and drop the Gridrank branding.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from Settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
